EasyJet holidays has named Natasha Marson as its head of distribution, in charge of leading its travel trade partnership division.
Marson was most recently head of Independence Group at Hays Travel, which she joined in 2019 from Thomas Cook, initially as its divisional manager for Wales and the Midlands. She had previously worked for Tui in a variety of senior roles.
She will join easyJet holidays on 18 December, to lead the operator’s eight-strong distribution team, working with more than 5,000 agents.
Marson said: “I’m thrilled to be joining easyJet holidays as head of distribution. Like many, I’ve seen the mark it’s making on the industry so I’m incredibly excited to be joining the UK’s fastest-growing tour operator, working closely with the distribution team and travel agent partners to deliver brilliant holidays.”
The appointment follows easyJet holidays chief executive Garry Wilson asserting his ambition to not stop until the tour operator is "the biggest in the sector" at Abta’s Travel Convention in Bodrum last week (1 November).
Roy Stratford, easyJet holidays’ head of partnerships, added: “Our travel agent partners have played a significant role in our rapid growth and continue to be an important extension of our business.
“Natasha brings brilliant travel trade experience with her, so we look forward to bringing her onboard and welcoming her to the easyJet holidays team.”
