More than 160 travel industry professionals came together at the latest Yorkshire Travel Ball, helping to raise £7,000 for charity.
Now in its 24th year, the Yorkshire Ball has raised more than £100,000 since its inception.
The latest event saw money raised for a number of animal related charities, including Greek Cat Welfare, which as a result of donations from the event in recent years, has seen more than 300 cats spayed.
Other charities included dog-rescue charity Starlight Barking; Asian elephant charity Trunks up; Brooks Horses; Animals Asia; Soi Dogs; Safehaven4donkeys and Hull Greyhounds and Hull Animal Welfare.
Organiser travel agent Sandra Murray said she held the ball each year in a bid to help animals “desperate for our help”. She added "a warm-hearted thank you to everyone who attended and makes the Yorkshire Travel Ball possible”.
