Adventure and solo travel specialist Flash Pack is to work with agents for the first time by setting up a B2B partner scheme.
Flash Pack, which relaunched in November 2021 after the business went into administration in 2020 due to the Covid-19 crisis, said it was planning to work with a “global pool of travel agent partners”.
The London-based firm, which specialises in small group trips for people in their 30s and 40s, said it wanted to work with agents to “share its unique adventures with an even wider audience”. Flash Pack is “particularly interested” in working with UK agents.
The move to embrace agents comes as the company has reached an “exciting point of growth”, with revenue already above pre-pandemic levels and plans to double growth in destinations over the next 12 months.
Head of sales Ike Offor said: “Flash Pack has always been a direct-to-consumer brand so our new travel agent scheme represents a significant shift – for the first time, we’ll be looking to partner with other sole traders and small businesses in the industry.
“We believe that, with travel set to bounce back in a huge way into 2024, the timing is right for this evolution. We want to be ready for the spike ahead and we’re confident that we can draw on the talent of agents around the world, who believe in our vision of people-powered adventures, to help meet our ambitious growth targets.”
Flash Pack said it would be offering agents a “competitive” 12% commission rate. They would also have access to a dedicated Flash Pack consultant for client queries, as well as product updates and promotions. The operator is also sending out a monthly newsletter to agents.
Agents who are interested in working with Flash Pack are being invited to apply to the company via an online application form.
