Legian Hotel Management (LHM) is to open its second property, this time on the Indonesian island of Lombok.
The newly formed company, which already runs The Legian Seminyak, Bali, plans a phased “soft” opening for The Legian Sire, Lombok in December, with a full opening in early 2019.
The Legian Sire, being built on Sire Beach in western Lombok, will feature 46 suites including a two-floor penthouse with three bedrooms and an infinity pool.
Meanwhile The Club at The Legian Sire will encompass 15 pool villas including beachfront and garden options, as well as The Beach House with three bedrooms and direct beach access, which can also be used for weddings and events.
The resort will offer personalised treatments for guests created by wellness concierges at the spa, which will house five treatment rooms, steams rooms, sauna, vitality pool and reflexology foot pond.
The Legian Sire will create its own organic fruit and vegetable garden to provide for its three restaurants.
The Lombok property is part of LHM’s plans to expand in Indonesia, Asia and “beyond”.
Irma Djohan, LHM’s managing director, said: “Initially we see huge potential in Indonesia - only a few destinations are currently on the radar to luxury travellers and we want to open that up. The LHM DNA is all about quality of service, innovative design, style and space.
“Our aim is to create a distinctively modern hotel company that exemplifies the very best of international standards and expands within Indonesia at first, then further into Asia and beyond.”
Introductory rates for a suite at The Legian Sire will start from $347 per night until March 31, 2019.
