ITC group partnership manager Chris Redfern has joined Premier Holidays’ trade team.
Redfern has been appointed sales and business development manager at Premier, and took up his new post on Monday (27 February).
He will take on responsibility for agents in the western half of England, as well as agents in the North East, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Redfern will report to Premier director of sales and marketing Debbie Goffin, and will work alongside Karen Milward who is responsible for agents in Premier’s eastern region.
It follows the departure of Carly Charteris, whom it was confirmed in December would be leaving Premier in the new year to take up a role with Discover Qatar in Doha.
Redfern brings 16 years’ travel industry experience to the role, starting his career as a member of Jet2.com cabin crew.
He went on to take up a regional sales executive role with Jet2 before moving to Palladium Hotel Group where he was group business development manager.
He joined ITC in February 2020 after a short spell with Beds With Ease.
“Chris is a well-known and respected individual in the travel industry and brings with him considerable trade sales experience," said Goffin. “We are looking forward to welcoming Chris to the team as Premier Holidays continues to support travel agents drive day-to-day trading.”
