Jet2holidays to launch packages to two new Turkish resorts next summer
Ilaria Grasso MacolaJet2holidays will launch package holidays to two new Turkish resorts, Kas and Kalkan, next summer.
The airline and operator said on Wednesday (11 October) the two resorts, located near Dalaman on Turkey’s south-west coast, would be added to its portfolio following a surge in demand from customers and independent agents.
Packages will leverage Jet2.com’s existing Dalaman flight schedule, with services available from all 11 of Jet2’s UK bases, and include airport transfers and 22kg baggage per person.
Agents will be able to offer their clients a range of 13 properties, including self-catering properties and bed and breakfasts to luxury hotels.
“Launching a fantastic collection of hotels in these two resorts comes off the back of strong demand for getaways to Turkiye,” said Jet2.com and Jet2holidays chief executive Steve Heapy. “We are confident the launch of package holidays to these new resorts will be popular with customers and independent travel agents.”
Turkey has now become Jet2holidays’ fastest growing destination, with demand soaring over the past five years. Jet2 extended its Atol by another 850,000 seats for winter 2023/24 and summer 2024, cementing its place as the UK’s largest Atol holder.
