Norse Atlantic Airways has added four new transatlantic routes to its summer 2023 schedule from London.
The carrier will launch Gatwick to Washington DC on 1 June offering six flights a week, with return economy fares starting from £430pp.
A Los Angeles route will following on 30 June, operating daily from £430pp, befpre a three-times weekly San Francisco service gets under way from 1 July with prices from £410pp.
Norse will then add London to Boston on 2 September operating five times a week, with return economy fares leading in from £370pp.
"This marks an important day for the UK aviation industry and for consumers as we celebrate serving more destinations to the US from Gatwick this summer than any other airline," said Bjorn Tore Larsen, chief executive of Norse Atlantic Airways.
"The addition of direct flights to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington DC and Boston to our already popular New York, Orlando and Fort Lauderdale/Miami services will provide greater choice and value for consumers."
Norse Atlantic currently operates a daily direct service from Gatwick to New York and recently announced flights to Orlando and Fort Lauderdale launching in May with fares starting from £409pp return.
The new flights – spanning the US east and west coast – mean half of Norse’s fleet will be based at Gatwick this summer.
