Newmarket Holidays has predicted small-group tours will see "significant growth" in popularity in a post-pandemic world.
The operator, which has invested in its small-group tours programme for 2022 onwards, has been running the portfolio for five years and offered 17 new trips for smaller groups in its latest brochure.
Most of the firm’s touring programme operates in larger group sizes, but its small-group tours contain a maximum of 25 guests, and usually operate with around 20 customers per group.
Richard Forde, head of trade sales, said small-group tours have proven to be more popular with customers post-pandemic.
"Certain destinations are really suited to smaller group sizes, like the African safari programme, or tours that go off the beaten track like Peru, Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands," he added.
"These are the sorts of trips that people have been planning over the past few months, just waiting for travel restrictions to ease so they can get on with their travel plans again."
