Jet2holidays has expanded its summer 2025 programme with the addition of more than 35,000 seats across eight destinations, including Spain, Turkey, Greece and Croatia.
The extra flight capacity to Malaga, Costa de Almeria, Majorca, Dalaman, Lesvos, Skiathos, Split and Dubrovnik comes off the back of strong demand for early and late summer 2025 departures, Jet2 said.
Customers and travel agents located near nine of Jet2.com’s UK bases – Birmingham, Bristol, East Midlands, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Liverpool John Lennon, Manchester, Newcastle International and Stansted – stand to benefit from the expansion.
Less than a month after Jet2’s first flight from Liverpool, Jet2 has brought forward the start of flights from the city’s airport and holidays to Malaga, Majorca and Dalaman. Jet2 will introduce three weekly services from Liverpool to Malaga in March 2025, rather than April.
The existing flight programme from Manchester and Birmingham to Costa de Almeria has also been brought forward. Flights to Dalaman will go on sale today (9 May) and will start from 14 March 2025, earlier than previously scheduled.
Summer flights from Manchester and Stansted to Lesvos have been extended to 12 October 2025.
The flight programme to Split from Birmingham and Manchester has been brought forward to 17 April, while flights to Dubrovnik from Birmingham and Manchester have been extended to 8 November.
Steve Heapy, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays chief executive, said: “We are seeing lots of demand from customers who are looking even further ahead to 2025.
“As ever, we have responded to that demand by adding more flights and holidays so that customers and independent travel agents have fantastic choice when it comes to booking their favourites.
“The announcement extends the summer season across a number of incredible destinations in Spain, Turkey, Greece and Croatia and we know this will be very popular.”
On Wednesday (8 May), Jet2holidays announced it had begun “slashing” summer 2024 prices while offering an extra £60 per person discount on May and June departures through agents.
The operator said it was “celebrating the start of its biggest ever summer with independent travel agents by slashing prices across all summer 2024 holidays booked with an agency partner”.
Meanwhile, easyJet holidays has launched a new all-city break promotion, offering travel agents the chance to save customers up to £100 of their next city package holiday booking.
The offer is valid on all breaks departing up to 31 October 2024, saving £100 on a minimum spend of £800.
