Not Just Travel is to spend a further £1 million on recruitment as the home-working agency “expands across all areas” of its business and restructures its team “to sharpen its focus on customer experience”.
The investment follows £2.4 million the company has already spent on expanding its team since the beginning of 2022.
New roles are being announced in operations, marketing, trade, cruise, training and business development and operations staff will have their roles rebranded as “experience managers” and be more focused on customer experience.
Not Just Travel claimed earlier this month to have doubled its recruitment figures during January–May when compared to 2022 and recruited more new travel consultants in the first five months of 2023 than it did in the whole of last year.
Steve Witt, co-founder of Not Just Travel, said the company was aiming to double its sales again and would introduce new departments amid its restructure utilising established and new staff.
“Customer experience is the key focus for us now as we centre on managing magical experiences for our valued clients,” said Witt. “2023 has proven to be one of the best years yet for travel franchisee recruitment and we need to keep up our pace of staff recruitment to ensure we continue to offer the best training, mentorship and support in the industry. We are expanding in all directions, across all areas.”
Co-founder Paul Harrison said the business wanted to “ensure we take the best people in the industry with us on our exciting journey”.
