Oman Air to offer ‘shuttle flights’ for Qatar World Cup fans
Tom ParryOman Air is to offer a schedule of "shuttle flights" for football fans during November’s Qatar World Cup.
The airline will operate 48 flights between Muscat and Doha from 21 November to 3 December during the first round group stage.
The service will look to encourage travelling supporters to stay in Oman during their visit to the region for the tournament and fly into Qatar on the day of their matches.
Fares for the 90-minute flights lead in from £105pp for economy and £335pp for business class.
The 2022 World Cup in Qatar will be the first edition of the tournament to be hosted in the Middle East, with England and Wales set for a home nations clash in Group B on 29 November.
