Two major trade-friendly brands are aiming to bolster their sales teams to raise awareness among agents as peaks gets under way.
Classic Collection is on the look out for two regional sales managers, while Kuoni is aiming to hire a trade partnerships manager.
Posting to LinkedIn, Si Morris-Green, director of agency sales and marketing at Classic Collection, said the RSMs would be “responsible for the account management of our travel agent partners across their designated region”.
One RSM will support agents in the north-east, Scotland and Northern Ireland, while the other will manage accounts in the Midlands and the north of the country.
Meanwhile, Sarah Weetman, Kuoni’s head of trade partnerships, urged “driven” individuals who have a “strategic mind” and love the travel industry to apply for the trade partnerships manager vacancy.
The successful candidate will "predominantly" located in the south of the country.
“We’re entering an exciting time at Kuoni and building the team is just one way we’re building support to our trade partners,” Weetman, who joined Kuoni last year, added in a LinkedIn post.
Weetman also shared a post from Kuoni’s account. It reads: “The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our network of travel partners.
“With responsibility for nurturing and growing our business opportunities and relationships, predominately located in the south, you will work closely with head of trade to maximise our key strategic plans.
“The successful candidate will be an effective networker, able to build key and trusted relationships, focused on achieving key strategic objectives all whilst strongly representing our brand and key Kuoni values.”
