Over-50s specialist seeking to double homeworking headcount

The over-50s specialist is seeking 10 recruits, preferably with two years’ experience, but will also consider those who have been out of the industry and wish to return. The scheme is free to join.

Managing director Kerry Gallagher said: “We currently have 10 homeworkers, so we’re looking to double the team. We limit the number of agents joining us at any one time so we can focus on the individuals, with us it’s about quality not quantity. 

“Ideally we would like to attract existing travel professionals with experience, either as a homeworker or retail based role, however we would be open to speaking to anyone new to travel too.”

Silver Travel had “one of the most generous commission and support packages available, no joining fee and a great team spirit”, she said.

She added: “We’ve seen significant uplift in revenue and margin over the last 12 months and we’ve had a really strong peaks. We’re incredibly optimistic about our future growth plans and it’s an exciting time for the business and our team.”
