Manchester airport has warned passengers an IT system outage – which impacted some of its processes on Tuesday morning (17 January) – could cause delays.
In a statement posted on Twitter, the airport said contingencies are in place and it is working with airlines to keep disruption to a minimum.
"Staff are on hand in terminals to support," it continued. "Passengers are advised to check with their airline for up-to-date travel advice.
"We apologise for any disruption this may cause to your journey and we thank passengers for their patience."
