Ponant puts 2022/23 winter itineraries on sale
Will PayneFrench luxury cruise line Ponant has put Le Commandant Charcot’s winter 2022/23 programme on sale.
The hybrid-electric polar exploration vessel is due to embark on its second season in Antarctica next year.
A 28-night "Unexplored Antarctica between Two Continents" sailing from Ushuaia to Dunedin from 15 January to 13 February, 2023, starts at £31,962.16pp.
A 26-night "From Dumont d’Urville to Mawson: retracing Heroic Age expeditions" voyage from Dunedin to Ushuaia calls at Adelie Land, Victoria Land, Marie Byrd Land and Macquarie Island. Prices start at £30,274.18pp.
Ten cruises are proposed for the vessel’s inaugural season from November 2021 to March 2022, including six different itineraries.
