Premier Travel expands new branch in former Thomas Cook store

The new shop, which brings the East Anglia-based agency’s retail network to 26 stores, will welcome customers from early next month.

The branch, located in the Garden Square Shopping Centre, will be managed by Lucy Clarke, who has been with Premier for eight years and brings 21 years of travel experience to her new role.

The agency said it had chosen Letchworth for its “vibrant” independent businesses, adding the North Hertfordshire town was “seen as a perfect fit”.

Paul Waters, managing director of Premier Travel, said: “With the team having so much experience we are excited to be able to open a branch in Letchworth. The support from the local community so far has been overwhelming.”
