Riviera Travel has launched a new internal app designed to help its trade sales team use their time with agents more efficiently.
The Riviera Travel Sales App allows key account managers to track their agent visits and outcomes.
The app features a one-click reporting function, reducing time spent on administration tasks by around 50%, and allows key account managers to log meeting notes instantly and share them with colleagues.
Data is then used to target specific partners who want to work closer with the escorted touring and river cruise operator.
Vicky Billing, head of trade and partnerships at Riviera Travel, said: “It’s essential that we stay ahead of the game. This app makes it easier for our key account managers to do what they do best: getting out on the road and building those key relationships. We’ve received positive feedback to date, with both our team and agent partners reaping the benefits of an easy-to-use system that drives mutual sales.”
This year, Riviera has bolstered its trade team with the appointments of Suzanne Warren, Amanda Docherty, Chris McCloskey and Lloyd Morris as key account managers.
