Sandals Resorts has announced plans to expand two properties in Jamaica and Saint Lucia, with new rooms and suites set to open in 2023.
The expanded Sandals Halcyon Beach Resort in Saint Lucia and family resort Beaches Negril in Jamaica are now available for bookings for travel from 6 April 2023.
Beaches Negril will add 12 new butler suites, bringing its total room count to 197. The new additions include six Firesky Reserve Villas, each offering four bedrooms spanning three storeys at 3,700 square feet.
On the opposite end of the resort’s coastline, the Eventide Penthouse Collection will comprise six suites with three to four bedrooms each, which will be able to accommodate up to 18 guests.
Elsewhere, Sandals Halcyon Beach Resort will open 25 new butler suites, offering an open-air layout, with suite interiors outfitted in natural woods, "hues of blues and soft island floral" touches.
The expansion will bring the total number of rooms and suites at Sandals Halcyon Beach Resort to 194, complementing the property’s six gourmet restaurants, variety of watersports and access to golf.
"Our guest experience drives everything we do, and these new suites are emblematic of our unrelenting move across the brands as we challenge ourselves to reimagine every facet of the business," said Adam Stewart, executive chair of Sandals Resorts International.
