Singapore is to further ease the requirements for its Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) regime, which allows quarantine-free entry to the destination.
From Monday (21 February), travellers flying to Singapore from the UK on a designated VTL flight will no longer have to take a PCR test on arrival.
Passengers will instead have up to 24 hours to take a supervised self-swab test at a designated centre in Singapore.
The requirement to take these tests on days two to seven of a traveller’s stay is also being removed, while the requirement to provide travel history will be cut from 14 to seven days.
Michael Rodriguez, Singapore Tourism Board’s area director, northern and southwestern Europe, said: “As travellers from the UK are now booking holidays again, we hope this will encourage visitors to book their next holiday to Singapore where they can enjoy quarantine-free travel and reimagined experiences with safety in mind.”
