Travel Counsellors celebrate five 'milestone' business owners

Global Distribution System (GDS) and corporate client tech lead Karen Hurst was also hailed at the event, as was her colleague Sandie Fisher, who will hit the 25-year mark later this year.

"Travel Counsellors is a supportive, global community in which I’ve been delighted to be a part of, and seen my career progress within the business over the years," said Hurst.

Engagement director Karen Morris said: “We are so pleased to celebrate these brilliant business owners and support team colleagues, who are not only celebrating some outstanding milestones, but are reflective of a caring community who truly make it their priority to be there for their customers, and support each other’s corporate and leisure travel businesses too.

“These milestones are not only one for the history books, but point to a bright future for those business owners who have just started their business with Travel Counsellors.” 

It comes after Travel Counsellor Carl Breton celebrated his best-ever sales month in September, along with 67 other Travel Counsellors. Breton made more than £600,000 in sales and contributed to total group sales of nearly £80 million – a rise of more than 10% year-on-year.
