Barrhead Travel has left the Travel Network Group after seven years and rejoined rival consortium Advantage Travel Partnership.
The Scottish independent, which joined TTNG’s Worldchoice division in 2015, closed its membership earlier in the summer.
The move comes as part of an effort by Barrhead parent Internova Travel Group to bring all four of its UK brands together under the Advantage umbrella after renewing its Advantage membership.
An Internova Travel Group spokesperson said: “We’re pleased to confirm the renewal of our membership with Advantage Travel Partnership.
"The deal incorporates all four of our UK business units as part of our commitment to share synergies and efficiencies across the group.
"Each business unit will utilise the membership differently, depending on their individual commercial requirements."
TTNG said Barrhead requested to close its Worldchoice membership earlier in the summer after seven years of membership to align with Internova’s strategy.
Advantage’s chief commercial officer Kelly Cookes told TTG the group has "enjoyed a strong and mutually beneficial" partnership with individual businesses within the Internova Travel Group "for many years".
"We are pleased that we now have their entire group of UK companies as part of our ever-expanding membership," she added.
"With our laser-focus approach on delivering the highest levels of membership support, we look forward to supporting all parts of their group going forward."
