Unforgettable Travel Group has restructured its senior management team as it eyes future growth, bringing in a new global sales head while creating a dedicated division for client services.
David Stone will join Unforgettable Travel Group next Monday (4 September) as its global head of sales, with a career history including sales roles at Ten Lifestyle Group and Abercrombie & Kent. Stone will oversee trade partnerships and co-ordinate the launch of the group’s travel agent portal and online trade learning centre.
Stone said: "I look forward to joining the Unforgettable Travel Group at a time when the company has aggressive growth plans in place and is making significant investment to achieve its goals. I bring a strong background in luxury travel to the role, which will help deliver our ambitious growth plans."
The restructure sees current Unforgettable head of sales and customer services, Julian Pearl, move into a role heading up the new client services division, which will be charged with delivering best-in-class customer service to trade and consumers. The division will also oversee the management of “Unforgettable Club”, the group’s new agent loyalty programme.
Pearl has been with Unforgettable for five years, and previously worked at Olympic Holidays.
Graham Carter, chief commercial officer at Unforgettable Travel Group, said: “Our business is going through a period of significant growth, with a goal to reach turnover in excess of £40 million by 2025.
“This restructure brings the company headcount to 47, bolstering our senior management team while bringing luxury travel sector experience to the table.”
