This year’s cruise conference, which is being hosted in partnership with Ambassador Cruise Line on board Ambience, will take place from Thursday 24th – Sunday 27th October 2024 on a 3-night Amsterdam City Break itinerary.

More than 180 delegates have signed up to attend the event onboard the affordable quality, no-fly cruise line’s first lady of the sea, making it the largest attended cruise conference for Advantage since the Partnership staged its first cruise event in 2012.

The conference has also attracted some the industry’s senior figures including Christian Verhounig, Chief Executive Officer of Ambassador Cruise Line; Aaron Langford, Senior Sales Director, UK & Ireland of Royal Caribbean International; Eithne Williamson, Vice President of Princess Cruises UK and Europe, Jamie Loizou, Managing Director of AmaWaterways; and Peter Shanks, Managing Director UK, Ireland, Middle East and Africa of ultra-luxury cruise line, Silversea.

Jonny Peat, Senior Commercial Manager – Cruise of The Advantage Travel Partnership, said: “We have been overwhelmed by the support of our members and trade partners this year and are delighted also to be hosting a number of the sector’s highest profile figures. This year’s ‘no fly’ cruise experience and choice of Amsterdam as the destination have also been a key driver for attendance.

“We are planning to have a strong business content programme covering all sectors of cruise. The lucrative ‘yet to cruise’ sector will also be a major focus as we see this as the biggest opportunity for our members to grow their cruise businesses. The conference will be a rich blend of learning, destination enrichment and a true cruise experience for all.”

Peat added that the Partnership is staying close to what’s trending within the cruise sector and will be delivering B2C publications that will support members’ sales.
