Celebrations for ITC’s 50th anniversary continue with all-staff connection day.
As ITC continues celebrations for its 50th anniversary, its full team from across Inspiring Travel, Spectate, Regent, Rainbow, Private Clients, Deva and Elite brands came together from around the UK for an activity-filled day and night of glamping at Hawarden Farm Estate last week.
As well as paddle boarding, wild swimming, archery, axe throwing and life drawing, the team building day connected all 120 colleagues from all parts of the business to strengthen their knowledge and strategise on working even closer together. Hotel partners sponsored all activities, yurts and meals, and the day ended with an outdoor group yoga session with views over the grounds before a glitzy evening event with guest speaker, Gail Emms MBE, silver Olympic medallist badminton player.
Phil Aird-Marsh, ITC CEO, said, “As part of our 50th celebrations, we wanted to not only give our people time to connect and enjoy some team building, but to learn more about our suppliers and find new ways to improve ourselves for our clients. The activities were chosen to tie in with our company values, and along the way allowed our teams to reflect on how we can continue to make ITC the best it possibly can be. I’m incredibly proud of our legacy so far, and know we have an exciting future ahead.”
The event is just part of the group’s special golden year which has seen the hosting of fam trips, key partner events and a Chester Racecourse day, with more events planned for the coming months.
