Newmarket Holidays launches new safari tour with beach extension

Escorted tour specialist Newmarket Holidays has launched its first South Africa safari with a South Mozambique beach extension, blending a thrilling bush adventure with blissful downtime on the coast.

The new 13-day family-friendly Kruger Safari and South Mozambique Beach tour starts with a week of wild exploration, including three open-air game drives to spot the ‘Big Five’ in the Kruger and Greater Kruger National Parks plus a night safari, a wildlife rehabilitation tour with a gentle guided nature walk, a spectacular panoramic tour of the Drakensberg Mountain Range and a visit to the Nyani cultural village to watch a traditional dance performance. Accommodation includes six nights at the luxury, tented Camp Bethel located in the heart of the bush.

On day nine the tour transfers to the coastal capital of Mozambique, Maputo, where guests will be whisked away by private speedboat to the idyllic Machangulo Beach Resort positioned on the remote Machangulo Peninsula. Here guests can unwind in utter paradise with two full days of leisure time and the option to take advantage of 50% off on all spa treatments at the resort.

Prices start from £3,260 per person including all accommodation, game drives, excursions, activities and flights, with late escape departures from October 2023 and 2024 departures from January.
