Classic Collection says it has received tremendous feedback from agent partners for its new ‘lift and shift’ social media marketing.
The new marketing tool helps the operator’s agent partners highlight deals available for their clients.
Regular daily static and video content lands on the operator’s agents facebook page and WhatsApp channel. This can be instantly downloaded - allowing for speed to market - with agent contact details before being lifted and shared to agents’ social channels.
Manisha Blair, Trade Marketing and Engagement Manager (pictured), said, ‘We’re excited with the feedback and engagement from our travel agent partners who’ve welcomed our latest marketing initiative which landed on the first week of peaks.’
The operator reports that more than 100 agents engaged with the initiative within the first 24 hours.
‘We’re showcasing some of the thousands of hugely competitive online bookable package holidays and giving agents the chance to boost their regional sales.
‘As well as focussing on regional departures, we’re targeting destinations and hotels which are trending and spotlighting packages where our flexibility in using split leg low-cost airlines gives us a price advantage over our competitors.’
The operator is also collating prices for handcrafted itineraries - multi centres, island hopping holidays and small ship cruising - to amplify the number of offers to which agents and their customers have access.
Blair concluded, ‘A huge amount of traction from our agent partners has resulted in a very promising start to our peaks campaign.
‘Agents have told us that they ‘absolutely love’ the content, find that it is ‘really cutting through’ with their customers, ‘making their lives easier’ and ‘driving a lot of enquiries’.
‘As a 100% trade-focussed operator it’s so pleasing that so many trade partners have got on board with our peaks marketing activity.’
