Travel Counsellors has announced two exclusive Discovery Days specifically for education professionals considering a career in the travel industry.
The first event will be a virtual session on the 7th of August, followed by an in-person gathering at the Manchester support team office on the 14th of August, providing attendees with a firsthand glimpse into the life of a Travel Counsellor.
During these Discovery Days, participants will have the opportunity to meet existing business owners, participate in a range of workshops led by the company’s expert support team, learn about the company’s unique business model and have an overview of the support, tools and technology provided.
The announcement of these education focused Discovery Days follows research commissioned by the company of 2,000 Brits, which revealed that nearly half (49%) of those working in the education sector said that they expect to leave or apply for a new job in the next 12 months.
Cathy Chapman, a former teacher and now a successful Travel Counsellor, commented: “Changing careers is a big decision, but if you have the passion and a strong work ethic, it’s absolutely worth it – you won’t regret it. The support of the entire community combined with the technology makes the earning potential fantastic, allowing me to scale my business in a way that suits me. Plus, a great perk for fellow teachers is the freedom to travel outside of school holidays. I truly believe being a Travel Counsellor is the best job in the world!”
Matt Harding, Director of Franchise Sales of Travel Counsellors said: “We understand that people want to embark on an entrepreneurship journey but find the prospect daunting. At Travel Counsellors, we believe in empowering individuals from all backgrounds to find balance and fulfilment in their careers. We enable our people to unlock their entrepreneurial ambitions and build their own travel business through our people first ethos and caring community, providing full access and support to the right tools, technologies and guidance needed to climb the ladder of success."
