InteleTravel has lifted the stop sale notice it placed on P&O Cruises last week follows talks between the line and the homeworking agency.
Last week, InteleTravel told its UK and Irish agents not to book P&O Cruises "until further notice", warning the line was not paying commissions and was reclaiming commission on cancelled bookings.
Tricia Handley-Hughes, InteleTravel’s UK managing director, told TTG the commercial agreement between the two businesses remained intact, while P&O Cruises said – for its part – that there was no stop sale in place.
Handley-Hughes added she expected the "no book" notice to be lifted "by the weekend".
A spokesperson for InteleTravel confirmed to TTG on Tuesday (29 October) the issue had been resolved and that P&O Cruises was no longer on stop sale with InteleTravel
TTG has approached P&O Cruises for further comment.
