Sofitel Rome Villa Borghese has reopened following a redesign and refurbishment of the 78-room property.
The hotel, which is based in a historic 19th century building in Rome, has been renovated by French architect and interior designer Jean-Philippe Nuel.
The property is located in central Rome close to landmarks including the Trevi Foundation, Spanish Steps and Villa Medici.
Edoardo Giuntoli, the hotel’s general manager, said: “In a city which is home to some of Europe’s most exciting historical buildings, it was essential for the new design to subtly incorporate Rome’s rich history along with Sofitel’s French elegance.”
All rooms feature Sofitel’s MyBed as well as marble bathrooms, while some of the hotel’s Prestige Suites have private terraces.
Public spaces include a rooftop lounge and restaurant on the seventh floor with panoramic views of the Italian capital. Personalised wellness and fitness therapies are also available at the fitness centre.
