Twelve people have been hurt after a Dublin-bound Qatar Airways flight was hit by turbulence on Sunday (26 May).
The incident happened during the food and drink service onboard flight QR017, which landed in Dublin shortly before 1pm.
Six passengers and six members of crew were injured, eight of whom required hospital treatment, the BBC reports.
Qatar Airways told the broadcaster "a small number" of passengers and crew sustained minor injuries and were receiving medical attention.
It added an internal investigation was under way. The flight was operated by a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.
The incident comes less than a week after a British man died and around 30 others were injured when Singapore Airlines flight SQ321 from Heathrow encountered "severe turbulence" on Monday 20 May.
SIA chief Goh Choon Phung apologised for the "traumatic experience" suffered by passengers and crew when the aircraft, a Boeing 777, experienced a sudden drop in altitude over the Indian Ocean en route to Singapore.
The flight was diverted to Bangkok.
