Homeworking and franchise outfit Not Just Travel plans to invest another £1 million in recruitment, extending total investment in growing its team to more than £4 million since the start of 2022.
Not Just Travel said the funds would go towards recruiting new corporate team members across various departments, including business development, training and operations, "to further develop its support and training offer for members".
It follows a like investment of £1 million last June, which it said would "sharpen its focus on customer experience". It followed this up with a peaks recruitment drive last September.
Steve Witt, co-founder of Not Just Travel and its recruitment arm The Travel Franchise, said that the group was recruiting "for the industry’s best talent", including "multiple roles" within its operations teams.
"We not only provide support and opportunities to promote our existing team where possible, but also plough everything back into supporting our members," said Witt.
"Our BDMs in particular need to have both an entrepreneurial spirit and evidence of accomplishment in the travel industry so they can inspire and lead our members to similar success."
Witt said the business’s aim was to scale up headcount to match the growth it is seeing in both its holiday and franchise sales.
"We have high ambitions and a clear goal and are continuously building a dynamic, diverse, motivated, healthy and happy team to take us there," Witt continued.
"In the last 12 months, we have invested significantly in our people, culture and workplace, pioneering wellbeing, communication and engagement initiatives, as well as striving towards better inclusivity and diversity."
