Aito has created a new marketing communications manager role and appointed Amy Waller to fill it.
Waller, who has previously worked at Travelopia, Cox & Kings, Reve Tourism Marketing and the South Australian Tourism Commission, was described by the organisation’s executive director Martyn Sumners as an “excellent all-rounder”.
She will be responsible for managing Aito’s marketing communications, including collateral, website and social media.
Most recently, she was programme manager at The Mindfulness Project, where she led the brand’s marketing strategy and overseeing its social media strategy.
She also managed a programme of courses, workshops, retreats and masterclasses.
Sumners said: “We are delighted to welcome Amy to the team. She is an excellent all-rounder, with a background in marketing and considerable experience of working alongside specialist travel companies and tour operators, which will be extremely valuable to Aito.
“She will be based at our offices in Twickenham, alongside our long-term key team members, Bharat Gadhoke, Yvonne Kinder, Pam Hersey and me.”
He added: “We look forward to introducing her to many Aito members at our Thessaloniki conference, in a few weeks’ time, as well as at future Aito General Meetings in London.”
