APT appoints ex-Thomas Cook manager to new trade role

Piggott has joined the river cruise and touring specialist’s trade team as sales executive to support its recently expansion.

APT said Piggott, who first joined the company in 2019 as a reservations consultant, had worked closely with agents and had been promoted to team leader within its after care team “where she excelled in enhancing the customer experience”.

She was named APT’s employee of the year in 2021 and was previously branch manager of Thomas Cook’s Chesham store.

Brad Bennetts, APT and Travelmarvel’s head of sales and business development, said: “Now part of our expanded sales team, Holly will support our BDMs as we drive forward our trade sales strategy and bring a wealth of forthcoming and exciting new product innovations to market.

“She will help with the organisation of key events for the trade, with the development of new training, the distribution of sales and marketing assets, as well as gathering market intelligence to help us better serve our valued agent partners.”
