Barrhead Travel’s homeworking division Brilliant Travel has set its sights on further bolstering its ranks in 2023.
The division has already seen homeworking membership grow by 20% this year with the group expecting additional agents before the start of the summer season.
During 2022, Brilliant Travel said its homeworkers had a "record-breaking" year, trading up 50% compared with business in 2019.
Agents are benefiting from pent-up demand for long-haul holidays, with profits for tailor-made trips soaring by 66% so far this year.
Tailor-made long-haul destinations are performing particularly well for the brand with Orlando, New York, Maldives, Boston and Canada amongst the top-selling destinations.
To support the group’s planned expansion, Brilliant Travel has bolstered back-end services and technology, such as the launch of a new reporting system.
Linda Pyle, director of Brilliant Travel, said: "I believe the service we offer our members is the most personal in the industry.
"We’re not aiming to be the largest homeworking network, but we’re certainly unrivalled in terms of support, product range and opportunities.
"For us, we’re looking for high quality experienced advisors who can deliver personalised service to their clients."
