Celestyal Cruises reveals new agent reservations platform
Will PayneCelestyal Cruises has launched a new, dedicated travel agent reservations platform in partnership with software company Versonix.
The "Seaware Platform" provides advanced CRM functionality and access to a greater variety of pre- and post- packages with both mandatory and optional components, rule-based pricing, payment and cancellations schedules, shore excursions and onboard experiences.
Agents currently enrolled with Celestyal have received a link to the new system’s user manual and tutorial videos along with personal log-in details.
Leslie Peden, chief commercial officer for Celestyal Cruises, said the release of the new platform was "just one more example" of the line’s "deep and ongoing commitment" to its travel agent partners.
"We have been working closely with Versonix for a year now in preparation for this release and have been engaging in ongoing conversations with many of our travel advisor partners to have a seamless transition to our new reservations platform," she added.
"We are expecting a significant adoption of this new system by our travel advisor partners, placing them firmly in control of their bookings 24/7, making it even easier to do business with Celestyal."
