Classic Collection to host VIP agent fam this week
James ChappleClassic Collection will host a "VIP" fam in Madeira for 25 agents this week, which will see several members of Classic’s senior management team attend to deliver a business update – and hear from agents themselves.
Director of agency sales and marketing Si Morris-Green will lead the trip over 10-12 November, with the event set to be held at Reid’s Palace – a Belmond Hotel with which Classic has had a partnership for 35 years.
"Both [the] hotel and destination have a long association with Classic Collection Holidays," said Morris-Green.
"This trip will give us a chance to listen to our agent partners and allow us to share our plans and vision for the future as we approach what is widely anticipated to be a busy peaks period.
"Agents will also have the chance to sample the Classic product and get to know one of our best-selling destinations, all of which helps to get people travelling again."
The itinerary includes an island tour, leisure time and fine dining.
It comes after Morris-Green hinted to TTG earlier this year Classic would seek to host a fam programme this year, before firming up the details in September.
Pauline Engelse, Belmond director of sales and marketing, added: "Delegates are joining us in the run up to Christmas and, although New Year is fully booked, there remains availability to celebrate Christmas in style at Reid’s Palace with carols and storytelling around the tree, Santa’s visit, gala dinners and cookies and Christmas decoration workshops."
