EasyJet is adding a new route to Malta from Liverpool this winter, with seats going on sale next week.
The new route will operate on Tuesdays and Sundays, throughout the whole year from 10 December 2024. Seats will go on sale on 11 June.
In the past year the low-cost carrier has grown its presence in Malta by 30%, opening new routes from Bristol, Amsterdam, Basel and Nice among others.
Since easyJet started flying to Malta in March 2008, the airline has flown over four million customers. It is now flying more than 400,000 customers to the country annually.
EasyJet’s Malta country manager Ali Gayward said: “We have long held links with Malta and look forward to further strengthening these in the coming years.
“Our continued growth and strong relationship with the Malta Tourism Authority has enabled us to invest in helping to promote the island and highlights the popularity of the market where we will operate a third more flying this summer, with customers choosing our flights and holidays for trusted brand, unrivalled network and great value fares.”
