Welcome to our fourth In The Spotlight video with easyJet holidays, where we’re focusing on peaks! Tash, let’s start by talking about your Big Orange Sale, what do agents need to know?
Natasha:
Hi Charlotte, hope you had a great Christmas, but that’s gone, so let’s talk about about January, let’s talk about what’s coming in terms of peaks. So I’m absolutely thrilled that we launched our Big Orange Sale on the 23 December, it was cracking, so pre-Christmas which is lovely, and that’s running right the way through now up until 5 February which is great.
So we’ve got a huge big fat juicy headline message, which is £400 off a minimum spend of £4,000 so a really strong headline message, and then that’s tiered, so £300 off a minimum spend of £3,000, £150 off a minimum spend of £500. £100 off £800 and even £50 off £500 Charlotte, so lots of great sales messages there for our fabulous agents to get behind.
So we’re thrilled with that, it’s really good and there’s a special code which we encourage everybody to use which is JANSALE and that gets you that great discount, so it’s it’s for all seasons, right the way up until 31 October 2026.
And I think Charlotte the other thing just to call out really is we we’ve got some really fantastic products, so we’ve got got the Sani Club in Halkadiki, we’ve got the gorgeous Melia resorts in Cape Verde which I’m really excited about and obviously we’ve got the Nile River cruises and loads of other great products in the portfolio, so lots for people to book.
Charlotte:
Amazing fabulous thank you, and tell us about your current booking incentive agents need to know about.
Natasha:
Okay yes so we really like to reward our agents in peaks, we know that it’s the busiest time of year, we know that’s when flocks of customers are either ringing or hopping online or popping into branch so we really want to make sure that agents stay motivated, so at the minute we’ve got a lovely £5 per booking staff incentive for all of our great travel agent friends out there. So they’re lining their pockets after Christmas which is always welcome, I think, after we’ve spent a fortune, to be rewarded in January for booking easyJet holidays.
Charlotte:
Fabulous that’s really generous, thank you, and there’s lots of support from your team as well to help agents sell more in peaks, what should they be looking out for?
Natasha:
Absolutely so as you recall we have increased our trade support team now so there is 12 of us – the dynamic 12, not the dirty dozen! So there is quite a number of us now and we’ve really committed and pledged to ourselves and to our agents for January in the early part of February to make sure that we’re visible, that we’re out on the high street, that we’re visiting our travel agent friends up and down the map all the way in Scotland and Ireland all the way through the UK right the way down to London and south Wales, all over that map we have pledged that we’ll be out and about.
And we like to call it Orange Aid, so we bring our Aid with us, so we bring some goodie bags full of lovely things for our travel agent friends just to keep the motivation going, just to keep them engaged to put a smile on their faces in January. And not only that, we’ve also got our senior leadership team out with me, so there’s quite a number of us from head office which will be out as well which is great. So we’ve planned very strategically all of our agent visits, and not only that, we we didn’t want to ever forget our homeworkers either so we’ve got a special day that we will be releasing shortly in January for our homeworker friends to come and join us at head office in London, to share and joining the fun and immerse them in a little bit of product knowledge as well.
So we’re very committed to of our agents in Jan and Feb good luck guys that’s the message, good luck, keep going.
Charlotte:
Thank you, and what do you have coming up that agents will want to have on their radar?
Natasha:
So we’ll get through till the end of January and then what I will say is watch this space for February because it’s kind of that month that you think it’s either going to make it work, or it isn’t going to make it work, so we’ve got quite a bit up our sleeve Charlotte, can’t reveal everything today – top secret as Tash likes to keep it – and we’ve got some very juicy Orange things coming. So get through Jan, let’s stay focused everybody, watch this space as soon as we get to the end of January fingers crossed Team Orange will be splurging again, there’ll be lots more excitement coming out, so yeah all all exciting stuff for February.
