EasyJet has added a Greek partner airline to its connections programme, opening up more than 20 destinations via Athens.
Crete’s Sky express, which has a hub in the Greek capital, has joined Worldwide by easyJet, which allows seamless booking and connections.
Sky express serves 34 domestic routes and has five international services, including Heathrow.
EasyJet said: “In just a few clicks, customers flying with easyJet will now have access by air to a new host of beautiful Greek Islands.”
Sky Express’s mainly propeller aircraft fleet allows it to reach Greece’s smaller islands. These include lesser-known destinations such as Mytilene, Icaria, Astypalaia, Vathi and Scio.
Sophie Dekkers, easyJet chief commercial officer, said: “We are delighted to be working with Sky express to open up access to even more new destinations this summer and explore all that Greece and its islands have to offer, through our innovative Worldwide by easyJet platform.”
