Emirates will operate a seventh daily flight from Heathrow from the end of October, citing increased demand for winter sun.
The extra frequency will operate five times a week from 31 October to 30 March.
The additional flight will operate on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays on a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft with first, business and economy classes.
Flight EK41 will depart Dubai at 13:20 and arrive at Heathrow at 17:20. The return flight, EK42, will depart Heathrow at 20:15 and arrive in Dubai at 07:15 the following day.
Richard Jewsbury, Emirates’ UK divisional vice president said: “As we gear up to the peak travel season this winter, we’re pleased to offer customers enhanced connectivity to Dubai and onwards to popular destinations such as India, the Maldives, Bali and Australia.
“We continue to see sustained market demand across our network and look forward to welcoming our customers from London and the surrounding region onboard Emirates.”
The addition follows Emirates’ recent resumption of Airbus A380 services to Birmingham and Glasgow, double daily services to Stansted and more capacity to Newcastle and Gatwick. The airline currently has 126 flights a week to the UK.
