Four Seasons Yachts – the newly-founded cruising division of hotel chain Four Seasons – has awarded Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri the contract to build the brand’s second ultra-luxury yacht.
The €400 million (£341.3m) vessel will be delivered in 2026. It comes after Four Seasons announced in September 2022 its decision to expand into the cruising sector.
Fincantieri is building the first 207-metre Four Seasons Yachts vessel, due in 2025. According to Four Seasons Yachts, the vessel will offer 50% more living space per guest than currently available.
“The signing of our second vessel contract with Fincantieri is another milestone in the development of Four Seasons Yachts,” said Larry Pimentel, chief executive and president of the brand’s owner and operator, Marc-Henry Cruise.
“Our partnership with Fincantieri and Four Seasons creates a powerful triumvirate of expertise that is committed to delivering a “category of one” luxury lifestyle yacht experience.”
Pimentel’s words were echoed by Four Seasons president Alejandro Reynal, who said both Fincantieri and Marc-Henry Cruise shared its vision “of one-of-a-kind luxury yachting experience".
