G Adventures has revealed the location of its second Change Makers Summit.
The incentive programme, which encourages travel agents to focus on “changing people’s lives”, culminates in a trip to India and Nepal next April.
In total more than 150 agents from the UK, Ireland, Europe, Canada, the US, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa, can earn a place on the trip through the Change Makers Challenge.
Travel agents receive one entry for each G Adventures trip they book, or if they submit a “social good” entry and showcase what they have given back to their own community.
The week-long summit trip includes a look at various projects in India and Nepal, including Women on Wheels, the Delhi Youth City Walk, the Sisterhood of Survivors and the Panauti Community Homestay.
It ends with a full-day, immersive G Adventures experience with guest speakers and a party.
G Adventures’ vice-president David Green said: “At G Adventures, we change the lives of our travellers when they choose to explore the world with us and, as leaders in community tourism, we change the lives of people in the places we go.
“The natural next step for us was to extend this experience to our valued agency partners to help them remember their own purpose, and the positive impact they have with every booking they make.”
The inaugural Change Makers Summit took place in Peru this year.
The Change Makers Challenge is now live until 31 January 2020. Visit www.gadventures.com/changemakers for more information.
