Gibraltar will scrap its passenger locator form next week, Visit Gibraltar has confirmed.
From Friday 18 March, arrivals into Gibraltar International airport will no longer be required to submit a PLF. The British overseas territory will also end testing for arrivals entering via Gibraltar International or Gibraltar port from the same day.
From Friday 25 March, unvaccinated close contacts of Covid positive individuals will no longer be required to self-isolate.
Gibraltar will, though, retain self-isolate for those who test positive for Covid, subject to a Day 6 and Day 7 testing regime. This system, said Visit Gibraltar, will be kept under review.
The peninsula’s general requirement too wear masks was dropped last Friday (4 March). They continue to be required in elderly residential services, and other health and medical settings.
"Gibraltar’s safety has always been an important attraction for our visitors," said Visit Gibraltar. "Now more than ever it is important that you feel secure with us, when you decide to return to visit this magnificent destination.
"Here are the current measures that have been implemented and will be taken, to make you feel safe when you visit."
