Holidaysplease saw its highest level of sales revenue in a single day on Wednesday (26 January) since it first launched 20 years ago.
The figure the homeworking agency recorded beat its previous top-day total by 20% and was five times higher than the same date pre-pandemic.
Indian Ocean, USA, Caribbean, Thailand and Greece were among the most popular destinations booked, as well as festive getaways.
Four out of the agency’s top five best-ever booking days occurred in the last week and the highest single booking came in at £81,000.
Cat Reeves, brand and business growth executive for Holidaysplease, said people were prepared "to spend a bit more".
"People are feeling carefree and have a ’lets do it’ attitude when it comes to upgrading and adding on experiences and extras which adds to the fun of designing the perfect trips," she added.
Holidaysplease director, Richard Dixon, said the company has "successfully generated good levels of new business" throughout the pandemic.
"But there is no doubt that January has been a big jump forward," he continued.
"It’s fantastic to see our homeworkers achieving the rewards that their hard work over the past two years fully deserve."
