Homeworker bags £260k booking following Mauritius fam trip
Will PayneA homeworker secured a £260,000 booking after she attended a Mauritius fam trip with Beachcomber.
Holidaysplease’s Debbie Taylor, from the Cotswolds, travelled with a group of agents from the homeworking agency to Mauritius in June in recognition of their recent successes.
The agents sampled the facilities Beachcomber had to offer and also had the chance to view other properties to help them sell the product to their customers.
Following the trip, Taylor made the staggering booking with a customer who was originally interested in going to Zanzibar.
However, the conversation turned to Mauritius after Debbie spoke about her recent experience. "Chatting about our shared love of Mauritius and the Beachcomber property reminded the customer of how much they loved it there and then their mind was made up; how could they not go back?," she said.
"Considering this is a group that never return to the same place, I think this says a lot about both the power of agent fam trip experiences and just how amazing this resort is too."
