Icelandic budget carrier Play will launch another new low-cost transatlantic route in the summer.
Flights to Toronto’s Hamilton airport from Reykjavik will get under way from 22 June, with UK feed from Stansted and Liverpool airports.
Play is offering five Stansted flights a week to Reykjavik, and two from Liverpool, which can be paired with the new Toronto route.
Fares lead in from £169pp when booked by 31 January, rising to £209pp from the start of February.
Play plans to operate 10 aircraft this summer, flying to nearly 30 destinations in Europe and North America.
Chief executive Birgir Jonsson said: "I have been eagerly anticipating the launch of ticket sales for flights to Canada, as it will be a major market for us at Play.
"I am excited to be able to offer more people the opportunity to travel between North America, Iceland, and Europe at affordable prices."
