Inspire Group will launch a new cruise-focused website as part of a renewed pledge to offer its 70-strong team of independent travel associates (ITAs) “the best proposition” in the homeworking sector.
The website will give ITAs access to the latest news and best available cruise offers, and will be one of several initiatives the company launches as it looks to strengthen its proposition in the market.
Inspire will also launch a new tour offering, incorporating direct rates to help homeworkers "maximise their competitiveness", create bespoke quarterly trends reports for all ITAs, and give ITAs access to its Sustainable Travel Organisation membership.
Outlining its commitment to meeting its sustainability goals, Inspire confirmed it had achieved a Carbon Disclosure Project score of B – higher than the global average score of C.
Managing director Lisa Henning wants Inspire to “lead the homeworking sector with the best proposition in the industry”. “We are fully committed to building our position in homeworking and to continually strengthen our proposition in this growth sector,” she said.
“Our priority is to ensure that our homeworkers remain as competitive as possible in their local markets and can continue to dynamically package.
“To support this move, we have increased our Atol licence to demonstrate our commitment to them in this area, giving them more choice to offer their clients, whilst also protecting their margin, and continuing to work under our trust account model.”
The initiatives were announced at Inspire Group’s Homeworkers conference this week after the company revealed it had hired Stacey Wilson as its second business development manager.
Wilson joins Inspire from The Travel Network Group where she held the position of retail manager at one of its Worldchoice-owned stores. In her role, she will support ITAs at Inspire while it fulfils its goal of doubling the size of its current team over the next two years.
Henning added: “Our ITAs can be in no doubt of the important role they play in our business. We will continue to look at ways we can deliver over and above what other UK homeworking organisations offer.
“We have ambitions to grow the team significantly this year and will be adding more benefits to our homeworking team going forward and introducing incentives for new applicants to join.
“Protecting and increasing their commission is our number one priority. To help achieve this, we have also announced two new levels of earnings within our tiered commission approach, allowing homeworkers to aim for ’Royal’ status, meaning they can earn up to 90% commission.”
