Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have announced plans to expand their flying programme to Bulgaria for summer 2023, with more flights and holidays added to the destination from four UK bases.
In response to an uptick in demand for holidays to the destination, the airline and operator have added thousands of additional seats from Birmingham, Leeds Bradford, Manchester and Newcastle airports.
Birmingham will offer up to three-weekly flights during peak times, Leeds Bradford will have up to two-weekly services and Manchester will see additional Tuesday services operating from 25 July to 29 August.
Newcastle will offer additional Friday services operating from 28 July to 1 September, on top of existing Thursday services operating until 28 September.
Steve Heapy, chief executive of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: "Holidays continue to be an essential purchase for many customers, and we are seeing strong demand for summer 2023, particularly when there is value to be had.
"In response to this, we have added additional flights and holidays to Bulgaria for next summer and provided customers and independent travel agents with more choice and flexibility when it comes to booking a great value holiday to Bourgas in Bulgaria during the school holidays."
