JetBlue will adjust its UK schedule in the spring with the introduction of an additional Heathrow-New York frequency, which comes at the expense of one of its two Gatwick-New York frequencies.
The US carrier on Thursday (5 January) confirmed the extra JFK frequency would get under way on the morning of 25 March.
US-bound flights will depart Heathrow at 8.25am, arriving at 11.40am EST, while services to London will take off from JFK at 8.30am EST, landing at 8.45pm GMT.
JetBlue, which already has a night service between Heathrow and JFK, said the new route was introduced after the carrier obtained an extra pair of slots at the London airport.
To maintain its current levels of three daily flights between New York and London, the carrier has axed one of its Gatwick flights.
The airline, which also flies between London and Boston, has recently launched additional services to continental Europe.
