Malaysia Airlines embarks on massive trade sales drive
James ChappleMalaysia Airlines has launched a huge trade sales drive which will see representatives visit more than 500 travel agents across the country in the coming days.
The Malaysia Airlines Great Getaway Sale got under way on Monday (September 3) highlighting special fares to Malaysia, south east Asia and Australasia from London.
Reps will head to agents in Brighton, London, Manchester, Liverpool and Chester, bringing with them the airline’s prize wheel - prizes include football tickets, gravel gadgets and return flights to Malaysia.
Richard De Villa, Malaysia Airlines’ marketing manager UK and Europe, said he hoped the initiative would “inspire the trade” and help place Malaysia at the forefront of their holiday offerings.
“We look forward to showcasing the best of Malaysian hospitality in the air and on the ground to both our travel partners,” he added.
Malaysia Airlines operates a twice daily service between London and Kuala Lumpur using its new Airbus A350.
